Let me fill you in

So let me fill you in on what's happened since last November.. I got engaged last christmas & later got married to my bestfriend/high school sweetheart of ten years in Feb :D Prior to that, spent most of my Summer break running errands day in day out, planning the wedding, though it was not particularly a a big fancy one, still, being a fussy girl is not easy you see. Lol.
We went to Tokyo for a super short honeymoon adventure and that was very interesting & fun. It has been 2.5 months since & life could have not been any more wonderful than this.. Despite the emotionally tiring long distance stuff going on - nothing worse than what we've expected so.. more than anything all praises to Him. Although I miss him terribly but yeah, life needs to go on.

Alhamdulillah I passed all my subjects last year (for the first time ever) so very hopefully I'll be home by the end of the year after graduation (double fingers crossed!!) Honestly I would not mind so much staying (in fact I'd LOVE to) but sorry Melbourne, I love my husband more than you so I had to leave... hehe. Final year's been pretty hectic (again, I saw this coming too so) now we're almost halfway through and can't wait to get to the end of sem & start winter break & go home to the arms of my darling loved one :)

Until then.

Bag crush 2013

Hello dead blog,

I am debuting your resurrection with some drool-worthy handbags. Currently having a major crush on medium satchels with flared gusset, i.e. the extended side "wings" that make these bags geometrically appealing. Been looking for a nice structured bag for ages but not so serious looking ones. (This is not a success story though, all aren't student-budget friendly. Cries!)

My first love would definitely be Céline Luggage Tote - the mother of all flared gusset bags, since it first came out in 2010. Then it went on to its sister, Céline Trapeze - which comes in an absolutely stunning colour blocking and texture clashing range, trust me you'll be spoilt for choice. But of course, God knows by the time I can actually afford to get one would probably be when this design is classified as "vintage'. Lol.

Anyway, some too much time spent on online-window-shopping and with the help of PurseBlog.com have brought me to (relatively) cheaper alternatives for this designer IT bag. And... the gorgeous Pashli tops my pick this time! Get this, it has the combination of all the delicate features of my (other) favourite IT bags - the the dual top handle, side zippered and the grainy pebbled leather - spells perfection to me! Oh well, a girl can always dream... :)

Asymmetrical

Wish I am more fun, full of life. But the universe is not letting me. All fun stuff are swallowed by this immense bitterness within. All that is left, a facade, neutralized.

Overthinking

From all I know, you're only good with
1. Random people you've met online
2. Younger kids to whom you pretend to be very kakak-ish
3. Reunited long lost friends

Gajah depan mata tak nampak. It's sad honestly. Oh well. I guess this is just not meant to be. And I shall stop makan hati.

Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Relationships (or any kind of ship for that matter) is a two way street you see. All this while you've ditched me almost completely, came back just to update more and more about yourself. Zzz. So glad I got out of that, just in time. Just before it became destructive.

Barely the beginning

When most people's first response is likely to be "Seyra like finallyyy!" (most often followed by a little shrieky squeal lol)  I, on the contrary think that that couldn't be more wrong! No, this is very much the first baby step. Loads more to come and I'm psyched! Change is good and we're forever learning, no? InshaAllah, wallahua'lam.
